Agilitee to Cross 9 African Countries In Electric Vehicles Unveiling Tour
Africa’s leader in Artificial Intelligence and the Green Revolution vehicles announced an unveiling tour of its 3 full electric cars, Agilitee At Last, Agilitee Go and Agilitee Bearer.
Agilitee will be touring all nine provinces of South Africa before crossing to Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Rwanda, Zambia, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia and Lesotho.
Agilitee founder Mandla Lamba said will start the tour in Durban on the 29th of October 2022 followed by Johannesburg on the 30th of October 2022 where the company will unveil and allow customers who have pre ordered to drive the cars.
Agilitee At Last is the most affordable car in Africa. The full electric vehicle has a range of 100km per charge and it has a maximum speed of 70km per hour. The car retails at $9 000 and you can preorder it at $450
“Agilitee Bearer is also the most affordable pick up van in Africa, it has a range of 200km per charge and it has a maximum speed of 70km per hour. The car retails at $13 000 and you can preorder it at $1000,” Lamba said.
Agilitee Go is the first self charging full electric isn’t in Africa and it is powered by solar and on bad weather it is charged and it gives you a range of 400km per charge and it has a maximum speed of 70km per hour. The car retails at $22 000 and you can preorder it at $1500.
Agilitee has also developed an interest free in-house financing package for those who can’t obtain credit from banks and other traditional financiers.
Recently ten people were confirmed dead and at least five others were treated for smoke inhalation at a farm in Esigodini, Matabeleland South, while battling to put out a veld fire.
Police were called to a farm known as Lot 43 of Essexvale, near Falcon College, after reports of multiple people succumbing to an out-of-control veld fire.
When the smoke cleared, 10 bodies – most of them of farm workers – were recovered. Five others who took part in efforts to contain the blaze survived and were taken to hospital as a precaution.
