Kangemi MCA Hamisi Maleya has been elected vice chairman Justice and Legal Committee Nairobi County Assembly .
Hamisi says he will use his experience at the military and engage the County Government of Nairobi on how to bring sanity at inspectorate department.
“My first task is to ensure that we have a professional and responsible inspectorate officers …we shall engage county government so that we streamline this sector properly.” Hamisi said.
“We shall not allow any harassment and everything must be done according to the law…so the issue of Kanjo torture is long gone.” He added.
He was speaking to the media at Cityhall.
