Kangema MP urges Kenyans to spend wisely during festivities

The Member of Parliament for Kangema Constituency Hon Peter Kihungi has wished Kangemans and indeed Kenyans at large a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year 2023.
In his candid Christmas message, the outspoken Legislator notes:
“I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2023. I am particularly appealing the drivers to drive carefully on our roads and avoid drunk driving”
He also cautioned Kenyans to spend money wisely.
Yesterday, Kangema MP Peter Kihungi, accompanied Water Cabinet Secretary in launching a national tree planting exercise.
“To climax the day, I accompanied Water, Sanitation and Irrigation CS Hon. Alice Muthoni Wahome and PS mining Hon Elijah Mwangi to launch national tree growing and land restoration campaign in Ndakaini, Muranga County.
We are working to ensure the government achieves 30% tree cover by 2032 across the country.
We urge our people to keep planting trees.
Other leaders present were Murang’a Deputy Governor Hon Stephen Munania , Hon Wakili Edward Muriu – MP Gatanga, Murang’a MCAs among others.”
