Bungoma Governor Applauds Legit Churches for Acting as Symbol of National Unity

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has commended the Kenyan church for the role it plays in maintaining peace and cohesion in the country.
The County boss also said that his administration puts God first in all its endeavours to ensure success in their service dispensation.
Speaking during a special Thanks giving service of dedication and opening of ACK Kamonjil Parish, Kapsabet Diocese in Nandi County; Lusaka thanked the Anglican faithful, well wishers as well as organisations who supported the construction of Parish.
Lusaka further assured tea and coffee farmers of the government’s support through the Council of Governors where he sits as the chair.
He also divulged that the government is working towards strengthening the agricultural sector by putting emphasis on value chain addition.
The service was celebrated by Bishop Christopher Cocksworth, the Lord Bishop of Coventry, United Kingdom.
Also in attendance were: Cabinet secretary for Transport and Infrastructure Kipchumba Murkomen, Governor Stephen Sang (Nandi), Chief of staff and Head of Public service Phelix Kosgei, Senators; Aaron Cheruiyot, Jackson Mandago, Principal Secretaries, MNAs besides other political leaders.
