Shake up in the entire Bandari Football Club board
Kenya Ports Authority [KPA] Managing Director Captain William Ruto has effected changes in the board of trustees of Bandari Football Club ‘s board hardly a month after the team’s head coach Anthony Kimani was shown the door and replaced with Sheikh Twahir Muhiddin in an acting capacity.
The club’s chief executive officer [CEO] Edward Oduor alias Edo became the first casualty in the club’s shake up announced by Ruto since he was appointed the state corporation’s MD.
In his circular to effect the changes Ruto appointed KPA principal corporate officer Haji Masemo to take over from Oduor.
Former sports administrator Twaha Mbarak replaced club vice chairman Benard Osero who doubles up as KPA corporate affairs manager.

The club’s chairman Eng Abdullahi Samatar retained his post with Raymond Ogolla becoming the new club treasurer taking over from Onsemus Ngumbao.
Ruto, who is Bandari Football Club patron, has appointed Cleopatra Taabu as club marketing cum publicity officer in a newly created post and the post of club organizing secretary was handed over to Salim Ali.
Former national football player Wycliff Anyangu has being appointed to the club’s board of trustees together with former sports administrator Garbrel Mghendi.
Others appointed to the club’s board of trustees are Vincent Kosgey, Nurein Shekuwe, Patricia Manthi and John Maritim.
With four matches to go before this year’s league fixture season comes to an end the coastal-based team is in the 6th position of the league table.
