Mandonga who is well known with his Sungunyo phrase surprisingly referred Kenya as his fathers home while terming his native country Tanzania as his mothers Land.

“Ninaleta heshima Kenya , tutakula pamoja chakula Gikomba kwa sababu Kenya ndio Baba na Tanzania ndio mama mzazi. Ultra Fight Series (UFS) promoter Mauruce Odera who is credited for promoting over nine fights said he has four other major fights on the card before the end of the year.

“I ave alot in store for our boxers, my main aim is market our local fighters and open greener pastures for them . I do things properly in terms of paying their purse and honouring our agreement” he noted.

KPBC president Reuben Ndolo said he has confidence with the promoter who has demonstrated he has passion for the sport having promoted several earlier bouts with no complains from any quarter.

“Ours is to regulate and ensure they follow the law. The promoter is required to deposit money for the referees, and boxers before the fight. We dont want issues to come up later” Ndolo said.
