Kerich, Asha Leads Nairobi Collect 10.6B Revenue

Nairobi County Government of Nairobi has posted a record 10.6 Billion shillings in revenue in the financial year 2022/2023.This is governor Johnson Sakajas’ first stab at Cityhall.

He is now facing a bright future in revenue collection thanks to his hardworking team headed by CEC Finance Charles Kerich and Finance Chief Officer Asha Abdi.

Land rates posted 2.8 billion shillings followed by Parking at 1.8 billion shillings.

The data further shows the county collected Sh202, 611,108 from Fire Inspection Certificates, Sh132, 717,178 from Food Handlers Certificates, and Sh250, 509,467 from markets.

“It is a collection of many things which includes hardwork,proper structure instituted by Kerich and Asha, efficiency and other factors. The two officers have been so instrumental in streamlining the sector,” Officer at Finance said.
