Nairobi Azimio MCAs Affirm Loyalty, Snub KK Trip
Fresh details have now emerged on how Kenya Kwanza is weakening ODM party in Nairobi through Favours to Nairobi County Government Assembly leadership.
The recent attempt to further sunk and silence ODM leaders is through extension of an invitation to accompany governor Sakaja and President William Ruto to USA.
According to a source at City Hall Sakaja invited all ODM leadership to join him with Ruto in USA.
Majority Leader Peter Imwatok confirmed the invitation but chose to remain in the country in honour of his party.
“Of course I received an invitation from Governor Johnson Sakaja but I will not honour it reason is that is too early start engaging in those.I can’t and as leader of majority I can’t trapped in a meeting with President William Ruto when my party is not their am very loyal to my party so let them find another way of engaging not laying political traps and killing opposition’s voice.” Imwatok said.
In a statement to newsrooms, State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said President Ruto will visit Silicon Valley in San Francisco, where he will meet with tech leaders of Microsoft, Intel, Google and Apple, among others.

The Head of State will thereafter attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly session in New York.
”The global gathering will assess progress towards the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), address critical global challenges such as the climate crisis and debt concerns in the Global South,” said Mohamed.
