1st Nigeria In Kenya Business Roundtable Held In Nairobi

The first ever Nigeria in Kenya Business Roundtable was held in Nairobi on 7th October 2023, aimed at fostering bilateral economic growth and collaboration.
The roundtable provided a platform for key stakeholders in business from both countries to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and explore opportunities for mutual growth.
The objectives of the Business Roundtable were to facilitate knowledge sharing between Nigerian and Kenyan businesses on industry trends, market dynamics and investment opportunities.
It also sought to enhance cross-border networking and partnership building among participants, and promote dialogue between government representatives and private sector stakeholders to address challenges and facilitate business friendly policies.
It further showcased success stories of existing collaborations and investments between Nigeria and Kenya.
Nigerian corporate persons and Kenyan businesses across various sectors, government officials from relevant ministries and agencies, industry experts, trade associations and chambers of commerce, as well as investors, financial institutions and venture capitalists interested in bilateral opportunities graced the event.
The host of the conference Ikechukwu Anoke who is also the Founder and CEO of Zuri Health offered that the Roundtable was timely as it seeks to strengthen the ties between Nigeria and Kenya Business ties . He is a former Executive Director Group Commercialization at MTECH Communications.
Various panel discussion speakers echoed the same sentiments and asked both Nigeria and Kenya governments needs to facilitate the ties by ensuring favorable conditions of doing business.
he also said Nigeria and Kenya should stop stereotypes when doing business together so as to prosper.
‘The fear of biting our tongue should not stop us from eating’, he said.
