Moses Ogeto Raises Alarm: Allegations of Police Harassment Targeting County Government Staff
Nairobi County Assembly Members (MCAs) are pointing accusatory fingers at the police, alleging a targeted campaign of harassment against personnel within the Nairobi County Government.
According to these MCAs, the perceived harassment is part of a deliberate strategy aimed at eventually apprehending Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Majority Chief Whip Moses Ogeto, leading the charge, asserts that there is evidence of an additional vehicle persistently trailing Sakaja’s chief of staff, David Njoroge, with the apparent intention of abducting him.
“Let them cease the intimidation; they are well aware of the dog’s owner. We do not want them to harass and threaten junior staff when they know Sakaja’s whereabouts.” Ogeto, addressing the issue, stated
Adding to the complexity of the situation, another aide of Governor Sakaja, Osman Khalif, was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen.
These developments raise concerns about the safety and security of the County Government staff, escalating tensions within the political landscape.
