Pupil Almost Kills Self After School Detains Her KCPE Result Slip
A pupil who sat for her Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education (KCPE) exams last year almost ended her life prematurely after the school in which she sat for the exam denied to issue her with the result slip to enable her pursue her Secondary School Education.
The pupil sat for her KCPE exams at St Elzabeth Primary School in Viwandani Ward, Kinston Slums of Nairobi due to a huge fee balance she had accumulated.
It is alleged that her father lost his job during the Corona Virus Pandemic which ravaged the globe and Kenya in particular rendering many jobless. He is said to could have deserted his family living them hopeless with family issues to deal with including school fees.
The mother also lost her job at a EPZ Company in Industrial area due to abrupt closure.
The matter of the kid’s results being withhold by the school was raised on a community WhastApp group and luckily through the same, well-wisher’s like Hon Faustine Imbali and Hon Maurice Imbale decided to team up and take the kid to school.
