Nairobi Declaration Affirms Youth’s Role in Global Policy Making

Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF) ,a unifying and transformative forum is advocating for the voice of Christians which seems to have been blocked at the United Nations Civil Society Conference in support of the conference of the future.
Youth representatives made their voices which seems to have been violated and denied equality at UN Civil Society Conference “we are the youth of the world, hailing from diverse ethnic, religious, cultural, and economic backgrounds, united in our recognition of the intrinsic, inviolable, and unalienable dignity of every individual”youth representative implored
The declaration, crafted by young leaders from diverse backgrounds and regions, underscores the urgent need for meaningful youth participation in shaping policies that directly impact their lives and futures.
It calls for the inclusion of youth voices at all levels of governance and emphasizes the importance of intergenerational dialogue to foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
At the heart of the declaration lied a profound affirmation of human dignity and the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

Upholding the traditional family structure, the youth advocates stress the importance of a biologically male husband and a biologically female wife, united in marriage and collaboration in parenting, as the bedrock of civilization.
In line with these principles, the declaration emphasizes the right to life and reproductive health, rejecting any notion of an international right to abortion. Instead, it calls for the protection of life from conception to natural death, echoing the sentiments of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD).
