Rotary Club Milimani Supports Mental, Environmental Health as the 36th President is Inaugurated

The Rotary Club (RC) of Milimani last weekend celebrated their 36th Installation Ceremony and the District’s Centrary year in Africa.
During the celebration, a new president was inaugurated in an ambient dinner held at a Nairobi Hotel.
The new president Yeddah B.Machage takes over from Jackie Njeru.
The event was presided by former President Gichu Wahome with the chief guest Rotary District 9212 District Governor Elect(DG.E) Dr.Joe Kamau officiating the ceremony.
The Club, in a presentation by President Yeddah (2024-2025),outlined the club’s vision for supporting its flagship program, education, through Mental and Environment Health (Leading Mental Institutions, Climate Risk Financing, Social Health Insurance, Performance Arts & Rotary Community Corps (RCC)).
The Club hosts the largest Scholarship Beneficiary Fund and the only Peace & Reconciliation Project
in D9212, and various programs under “WASH” and Interact Clubs to help children, youth, schools and vulnerable communities get the right support for education.
Also in attendance were top District Officials DG Nominee Wairimu Njage, Past DG Peter Mbui, Assistant DGs Dan Awendo, Gari Ananda and Saad Rahman, Sponsored Clubs Rotaract Milimani and Interact Starehe Boys,and RC Kampala South(D9213),Uganda.
