Jubilee Party Secretary General Hit out at Broad-based Government

Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni said the recently formed broad-based government is operating illegally.

He said the constitution has no provision for a broad-based government.

“What President William Ruto did in forming the government by including the opposition in his cabinet is illegal and against the constitution,” he pointed out.

Kioni said there is no law that allows the formation of a broad-based government.

He was addressing the media while accompanying Azimio Coalition Principal Kalonzo Musyoka who had landed at the Moi international airport in Mombasa county.

The Jubilee Party Secretary General who is allied to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta said the opposition of the country is with the people.

He told the media the youth under the millennials and the generation z demonstrated last July the power is with the people and not with the  leaders.

“The power is with the people and not with leaders who have decided to go elsewhere,” he added.
