Boxer Okolla Vows to Knock Out His Mauritius Opponent Swiftly

Kenya’s celebrated boxer, Morris Okolla, has confidently vowed to knock out his opponent from Mauritius within the first three rounds during tomorrow’s Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) Fight Night, set to take place at Nairobi’s Chatter Hall.

The highly anticipated event will showcase top talent from Kenya and beyond, with the main bout featuring Kenyan heavyweight champion Okolla against Mauritian contender Cedric Oliver.

At the weigh-in, held earlier today at Maa Hotel and Suites, Okolla expressed confidence, stating, “I’m ready to beat my opponent inside three rounds.” Cedric Oliver responded, “My opponent talks a lot; let’s settle this in the ring.”

The undercard matches will feature:

John Juma (Kenya) vs. Kingsley Mwancha (Kenya)

Dennis Okoth (Kenya) vs. Alfayo Siyo (Kenya)

Martin Achebi (Kenya) vs. Fredrick Okau (Kenya)

Joshua Wasike (Kenya) vs. James Nyariki (Kenya),

Kennedy Opiyo (Kenya) vs. Steve Kelunkunga (DRC),

Collince Nyakwaka (Kenya) vs. Wellington Busili (Kenya)

KPBC chairman, Reuben Ndolo, urged fans to attend in large numbers for what promises to be an exciting night of boxing. He remarked, “We have more fight nights scheduled later this year in Mombasa, Lamu, and Kisumu. There will also be another big event in Nairobi featuring boxers from Mauritius, Tanzania, DRC, and other regions.
