Somali Businessman Linked to Assault Case of Two Foreigners
Abdihakim Sheikh Abdullahi, also known as Abdihakim Mursal, a prominent Somali businessman and owner of Paradise Hall, was spotted at a Nairobi court on Monday in connection with a case where two foreigners are charged with assaulting a Norwegian woman.
The first accused, Fahima Qoje, failed to appear in court, and sources allege that Abdihakim may be behind a medical report submitted to prevent a warrant of arrest against her. The court has ordered the report to be examined to determine whether it is genuine or fraudulent.
Court prosecutor Samson Ng’etich raised concerns over the suspicious nature of the document, questioning its authenticity.
It has been alleged that Abdihakim is working with well-known TikTok influencers in Eastleigh to conduct controversial business dealings involving Fahima Qoje, her co-accused Rayan Bajaj, and another individual named Hibo.
On Monday, Abdihakim was seen speaking closely with the accused in their local dialect, reportedly promising to help them escape legal repercussions. The accused individuals are said to be associates of Abdihakim, who is alleged to have connections with influential Somali politicians. These politicians, currently holding high positions in the Somali government, are rumored to be involved in laundering money through businesses, including Paradise Hall.
The unfolding case has raised serious concerns about potential interference and manipulation of the judicial process.
