The Annual World Travel Awards Africa Gala 2024 celebrated the finest in the region’s tourism and hospitality

The prestigious 31st Annual World Travel Awards Africa Gala 2024 celebrated the finest in tourism and hospitality at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort, attracting key industry leaders.

 

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards recognize excellence in the global travel industry, cementing winners’ reputations as leaders in hospitality.

 

The awards are issued based on votes garnered, with the voting process open to the public and professionals in the travel and tourism industry. Winning a World Travel Award is globally recognized as a mark of excellence, raising standards in the tourism sector.

 

Among many notable winners, PrideInn Azure was named Kenya’s Leading Business Hotel 2024, while PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort, Convention Centre & Spa received the award for Kenya’s Best MICE Hotel 2024 following the World MICE Awards held in Vietnam on 4th September.

 

Other key winners at the gala included renowned African hotels, airlines, and tourism destinations, further showcasing the region’s strengths in offering exceptional travel experiences.

 

These awards underscore the commitment to delivering world-class services in business and conference tourism, as demonstrated by various hospitality brands.

 

Kenya being the host of this prestigious event, amplified its position as a top-tier destination for both leisure and business travel, highlighting the nation’s growing influence in the African tourism sector and its critical role in attracting global tourists and investors.
