In a strategic alliance set to modernize Kenya’s records management sector, Metrofile Kenya has partnered with the Kenya Association of Records Managers and Archivists (KARMA) to push forward digital transformation. Launched at the 8th annual KARMA conference in Lake Naivasha, this initiative aligns with the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy’s (MICDE) Strategic Plan (2023-2027), focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and data security.

Metrofile’s EverFiles platform will play a central role in streamlining records management across public and private sectors, addressing the financial and operational inefficiencies of outdated, paper-based systems.

The partnership also emphasizes professional development with the Women in Records & Information Management (WORM) initiative, aimed at fostering career opportunities and best practices for young professionals in digital records.

Cabinet Secretary Dr. Margaret Nyambura Ndung’u praised the partnership as a pivotal step toward Kenya’s goals of secure, integrated data management. As Kenya continues to digitize its services, this collaboration positions the country as a leader in digital transformation within the records management sector.
