Uganda football team beat the hosts 3-0 during the 14th edition of the East African community games at Kenya Ports Authority Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa county.
The visiting team dominated the entire 90 minutes with defending champs leading 2-0 during the breather time.

Uganda’s sports minister Peter Ogwang scored the second goal of the match when he forced Kenya’s custodian Gisairo Clive Ombane to dive the wrong way.
In another match played at the Mombasa Sports Club Uganda beat helpless Burundi 6-0 in a one-sided match.
In basketball Uganda men beat Burundi 50 baskets against 36 baskets. Uganda also beat the hosts with 66 baskets against 16.
