Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has announced 2,000 high-paying overseas job opportunities specifically for boda boda operators.

Speaking during a press briefing on Friday, May 23, CS Mutua announced that several companies from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), are looking to recruit Kenyan delivery riders—commonly known as boda boda operators—offering monthly, tax-free salaries ranging from Ksh80,000 to Ksh120,000.

“This is a golden chance for our youth, especially those in the boda boda sector, to elevate their standards of living while gaining international exposure,” Mutua stated. “We are not just exporting labor; we are exporting skill and determination.”

The Dubai-based employers have promised comprehensive medical insurance and accommodation for the riders, making the offer even more appealing.

Applicants must be under 38 years old and possess either a motorcycle license or a valid driving license, along with a passport or proof of application.
