43 Mt Kenya MCAs join UDA
Nyeri County Assembly Speaker, his deputy, and 25 MCAs have joined UDA party.
The MCAs were received by Deputy President William Ruto at his official Karen residence in Nairobi.
The Nyeri assembly has 30 elected MCAs.
Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga is DP’s ally and had vowed to mobilise Nyeri residents to back Ruto in the August 9, election.
The DP also welcomed Nyandarua County Assembly Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader and 17 elected MCAs to the party.
While receiving them, the DP said it is time to change the economy of the country.
