Sonko pays Ksh 100K fine for man who stole cooking oil
Nairobi governor Mike Sonko on Wednesday evening paid Sh 100,000 fine for Alvin Linus Chivondo,who was convicted of shoplifting at Naivas.
Sonko also pledged to give the distressed young man a one month food stock plus a job in the near future.
Sonko said that the move is not aimed at gaining any political mileage.
” Haters should not politicize Alvin’s case as l’m not paying his fine to seek for any political mileage,” Sonko said.
