Governor Kananu Reorganizes her Cabinet
The flamboyant Nairobi City County Governor Ann Kananu has reshuffled her cabinet aimed at improving service delivery in the city before the general elections.
With 16 days to the general elections, Governor Kananu states that Nairobi residents still deserve the best and that efficiency in service delivery is crucial up to the last minute of her tenure.
“In exercise of the powers conferred to me by article 179(2)(b) of the constitution read together with sections 30(2)(d), € and 31(b) of the County Government Act, 2012, I have made the following changes the county executive committee; Allan Esabwa Igambi who was initially serving as the CECM for Finance and Economic planning will now be the Acting CECM for Food, Agriculture and Forestry,” she said.
Lawrence Wambua who was theCECM for Environment, Water.Energy and Natural resource has replaced Igambi on the finance docket.
Lucia Mulwa who was serving the CECM for Agriculture is now in charge of the education, Culture, Sports, youth and gender docket.
According to vibrant City Boss, the outlined changes take effect immediately.
