Election results for Juja constituency disputed in court

The election results for Juja constituency during the general election are being disputed at the Kiambu high court in Kiambu county.
Aloise Kinyanjui, the brother to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, who vied for the seat on a Jubilee Party ticket lost his quest to his brother’s former ally, George Koimburi, who had vied on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
The MP elect has been served through an advertisement in the local dailies being the third respondent in the election petition filed at the Kiambu high court through Ndegwa and Ndegwa advocates.
The constituency featured a lot during the presidential petition at the supreme court in Nairobi through social media where Azimio coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate who is Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua want President elect William Ruto’s victory to be quashed.
The tainted Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is under siege for declaring the presidential results with more than the cast votes during the polls.
The clip of the declaration has trended during the entire supreme court proceedings before the judges rested to write the judgment expected to be delivered on Monday.
According to the substituted service by advertisement the electoral body is the first respondent in the election petition which is expect to be fireworks through the hearing session.
