Jijenge Revolutionises Access to Credit
By John Kariuki
One of President William Ruto’s pledge is to uplift small and medium enterprises through provision of affordable credit.
It’s in light of this that Jijenge credit has welcomed and indeed shares in this vision.
Jijenge Credit is a non-deposit taking Micro Finance Lending Institution with over 10,000 clients in Kenya, Sudan and Tanzania, and its head office is at Town House, Nairobi, Kenya.
According to the CEO Mr Peter Kamau, Jijenge is the answer to those who were initially locked out of credit
“Our greatest advantage the demand for microfinance products that is very high especially among SMEs who are the company’s main client. Jijenge Credit looks to aid those who are unable to access financial services.”
Mr Kamau also welcomed president Ruto’s pledge of the hustler fund saying it will be very instrumental in boosting the economy.
“Yes indeed we are welcoming this particular fund with open arms and we request him to consider us as well. This will enable us to lend to millions of Kenyans at reasonable rates,” Mr Kamau concluded.
