Huduma Centre construction set to start at Kimilili – MP Didimus

Kimilili Member of National Assembly Didimus Baraza has revealed that the plan to bring national services to the local mwananchi is underway.

Speaking during the grand opening of a two storey building at Kimilili RC Girls Primary School, the legislator divulged that together with Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Affirmative Action and Gender, Aisha Jumwa, they’ve agreed to erect Huduma Centre at Kimilili.

“In less than 1 month construction of Huduma Centre will be on, the services rendered will serve wananchi across Mt. Elgon, Tongaren and it’s environs hence the true definition of devolution,” said Didimus.

Also present was Bungoma Senator David Wakoli who backed up his counterpart emphasizing on unity of purpose.

“We shall continue working cooperatively and pass the bills at Senate so that equalization funds reach Bungoma people besides Huduma Centre and County offices to cut to the cost of having to travel to Bungoma for essential services,” noted Wakoli.

On the other hand, the Senator pledged to see through the construction of dilapidated roads including but not limited to Kimilili- Kapsokwony, Kuywa- Kapkateny -Kaptama roads within the shortest period possible.
