Adopt a Bed on Course at Kenyatta National Hospital
Kenya’s pioneer and largest public referral hospital – Kenyatta National Hospital is still rolling out the “Adopt a Bed campaign.”
Speaking when launching of the adopt a patient campaign the Kenyatta National Hospital Chief Executive Officer Evanson Kamuri said the Adopt a Patient campaign is an initiative that aims at connecting donors with patients in need of financial assistance for their medical bills.
“We welcome other like minded stakeholders to join this worthy cause in a bid to support this important facility. It’s a very good gesture from her excellency for leading from the front and being true to her word. Her excellency Tessie isn’t new in this facility because she led her family to have their COVID 19 vaccinations here.”
Tessie Shangatti Mudavadi – Spouse to the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, at the same time handed over 22 beds in support of the Adopt a Bed campaign donated by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and other partners.
Dr. Kamuri welcomed all Kenyans to continue supporting Kenyatta National Hospital which has been expanding its services whereby renal services are now fully fledged and very soon Dr Kamuri alluded that liver transplant will also be available.
