They also recommended the ministry to have grade 8 and 9 in secondary  schools arguing there is existing  infrastructure and manpower.
The resolutions were made by the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESSHA) National Secretary Abdinoor Haji at the end of the five-day 47th annual delegates conference held at Sheikh Zayed hall in Nyali constituency, Mombasa county.
A total of almost 10,000 secondary schools headteachers attended the annual forum. Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu performed the closing ceremony of the five-day event at the port city. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua had presided over the opening ceremony.
The KESSHA National secretary, who read the two pages resolution, said the delegates will conceptualize the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) philosophy.
