Coca-Cola has launched the Coca-Cola Food Fest, a campaign designed to engage university students with culinary creativity and deliver unforgettable experiences across campuses.

The initiative kicked off last weekend at Mount Kenya University’s Freshers’ Night, where first-year students were treated to a spectacular event celebrating the beginning of their university journey.

Celebrity chef and fashion icon, Chef wa Easlando, stole the show by offering students a chance to sample his delicious dishes, perfectly paired with Coca-Cola. Students enjoyed 200ml bottles of Coca-Cola at the affordable price of KSh 20, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

The University of Nairobi also had its turn earlier this month, when Coca-Cola brought the Food Fest to their Freshers’ Night, giving new students a similar opportunity to experience the campaign.

“The Coca-Cola Food Fest is more than just an event for sampling great food. It’s about creating lasting memories and providing students with experiences that will enrich their time at university,” said Monique Katana, Director of Frontline Marketing, Coca-Cola Kenya.

Katana also highlighted the event’s focus on supporting local vendors, ensuring the community benefits from the excitement.

The Coca-Cola Food Fest will continue its tour, making stops at Moi University in Eldoret this weekend and featuring at the Miss and Mister Maseno University and Kenyatta University pageants next month.

In November, the festival will also visit Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and Egerton University’s Cultural Week, offering more students a taste of the fun.
