Golf Club Member Wins Weekend Tournament
Nyali Golf and Country Club member won this year’s Sanlam open golf tournament held over the weekend.
Rohit Devani was declared overall winner after he posted 42 points on count back.
Playing off on 22 handicap Rohit managed to beat over 200 golfers during the one-day tournament held at the club’s course.
Fahmy Bajaber won the men’s title after he posted 42 points playing off on 9 handicap.
The men’s runners-up award went to Vishnu Dhutia after he posted 41 points on count back. He was playing off 14 handicap.
The third award in the men’s category went to Vimal Ranpura after he posted 41 points playing off on 11 handicap.
Petronilah Kalee won the ladies’ trophy after she posted 41 points. She was playing off on 24 handicap during the tournament.
The runners-up trophy in the ladies’ category went to Mary Mariga after she posted 40 points playing off on 17 handicap.
The best senior award went to Murtaza Saeed after positing 40 points playing off on 26 handicap.
The tournament’s staff award went to Mwanzo Moseti after posting 42 points.
