The government, through the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, is currently collecting data for the Enhanced Single Registry in 12 counties.

This registry aims to gather, update, and link data of vulnerable persons and households, ensuring they receive the right services and support.

“The Enhanced Single Registry (ESR) is a socio-economic database of vulnerable households in Kenya. It provides a single platform where critical information across social protection programs is stored, analyzed, and reported for the benefit of all stakeholders.” said PS for Social Protection Joseph Motari.

The ESR will also help ensure no individual or household receives multiple benefits across different programs, making service delivery fair and efficient.
