Nairobi’s Bahati MCA vows to upgrade area Sport grounds.

Nairobi’s Bahati Member of the County Assembly(MCA) Hon Mark “Tosha” Nganga has vowed to rehabilitate the standard of the local playing grounds in his area of jurisdiction.
He said he is targeting the main Volleyball pitch that hosted the just ended Nyaberi Cup to be of International standard.Speaking over the weekend at the Bahati Volleyball Ground,
Tosha who boosted the tournament by topping up the winning prize for the winners with Ksh. 20,000 said despite the current Corona Pandemic, he will not relent from upgrading the local grounds in his area.
He appealed to the Government to chip in by providing funds to rehabilitate the historical Bahati Volleyball ground which has produced some of the finest Volleyball players in the country.
Clad in an Arsenal club jersey, Tosha who was widely cheered during his speech lauded the organizers of the tournament for choosing Bahati grounds as the ideal venue.
He said it was a great honour to see local players playing against military teams like Moi Airbase,and Kahawa barracks which was a perfect way for bonding and uniting players despite the hard economic times brought by the Corona Pandemic
The MCA promised to organise a tournament come next month and pleaded with players in the area to take Sports and Education seriously. He presented some of the winning teams with medals, balls and Trophies
