Barayan Hails The Bottom Up Economic Model

Incoming Mombasa Woman Representative Fatma Barayan has exuded confidence that the bottom up economic model is the best blueprint our country needs.
In her Facebook post seen by The Times, she wrote:
“The Bottom-Up Economic Model will bring economic empowerment through the provision of affordable micro-credit and reduction of domestic borrowing by government thus lending by banks to medium enterprises. This is coupled with replication of best practices under the existing special funds such as NGAAF, Uwezo, Youth and Women Enterprise Funds.”
She had met with Subira VSLA Women Group from Tibwani Ward, Likoni Sub-County where she interacted on one-on-one session.
