Wanjiku Showcases Gatundu North Transformation Progress
By John Kariuki
With just ten days to the General Elections, voters have been urged to Elect leaders based on their track record. A great performer indeed is Gatundu North MP Annie Wanjiku Kibeh.
Humble, down-to-earth philanthropic and personable are the few attributes in the long list of accolades to the credit of this leader who stands for nothing less than integrity.
In a Facebook post seen by The Times Digital she wrote,
“Since I was elected in 2017, weve managed to extensively renovate and even build new modern classrooms in 57 out of 58 public primary schools in Gatundu North. This transformation has undoubtedly positively changed our KCPE mean score from 220 in 2017 to 254 in 2021.
No doubt a conducive environment is critical in improving the academic performance in school.
Below see photos of the new Kajabi public primary schol in Githobokoni ward, one of the top performing schools in Gatundu North.
Through funding from Gatundu North NG-CDF, the school now boasts of a conducive learning environment for our children after we constructed this storeyed block of four (4) modern classrooms. Before this the children were learning in very dilapidated iron sheets old classes with earthen floors. In Season 2, we hope to build another similar block to completely resolve the learning space challenge that still exit.
