Kagombe: KTDA Board is Intact
Gatundu South member of parliament GG Kagombe has reaffirmed that the Kenya Tea Development Authority board is intact and here to stay.
Mr Kagombe, a staunch proponent of tea sector reforms also rubbished futile attempts by former directors to regain entry into office.
“The tea sector has seen better times under the new board and it’s leadership. We want to categorically state that those who are trying to dereil the sector reforms are enemies of progress. Those who are seeking leadership should do so through the farmers as the law stipulates,” Mr Kagombe added.
He at the same time reiterated that the national government Constituency Development Fund NG-CDF Act of 2015 is still operational thereby allaying erroneous reports that CDF was scrapped.
