Promote Local Manufacturers Government Told

The government has once again been urged to promote local manufacturers in a bid to spur economic growth.
The company deals in the manufacturing of executive curtain rods and accessories with a focus of transforming window spaces into exquisite designs. They manufacture pure powder coated curtain rods, finials, brackets, tie backs, rings, caps among others that are customized to fit all window types and sizes. All these products come in different shades of unique colours of antique gold, antique silver, white gold, pure white and matte black.
“We are imploring upon the government to lower the taxes so that we can be able to thrive in our business which promotes the growth of the economy and also job creation.”
Mr. Kariuki has employed 27 full time workers.
They source the raw materials that include furniture pipe and flat bar from local hardwares in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties.
They have employed a total of 27 employees who support in different areas of production that includes mig welding, mechanical operations, packaging and delivery where 83 percent are youth, 48 percent are women and 3 percent are Persons Living with Disabilities.
Seven Twenty Holdings Company initially started by manufacturing curtain rings and they have organically grown to produce curtain rods and cups.
They have also diversified and started production of paint, Top Coat and Undercoat Paint. In terms of expansion, they have done a feasibility study in Kisumu County where they have a large customer base and will soon be opening a branch.
