Nakuru: Young Man Steals Helicopter And Crashes It
There was drama in Gilgil, Nakuru County after a 17- year old boy stole a helicopter and tried to fly away with it.
The boy identified as David Chege is said to have sneaked into a private home unnoticed where he committed the act.
According to reports, the home owner identified as Peter White was woke up by the choppers noise.
Seeing that he has not authorized for it’s take off, he hastely went to see what was happening and it is at that moment that he realized that an invader was trying to steal the flying machine.
David, since he has never gone to any aviation classes crashed the chopper at the hinge since it refused to take off.
Angry residents stormed the resident where they were paying for David’s blood but luckily, area police managed to save the young soul.
Investigations of the motive of the crime are underway as David awaits trial on Monday.
