The Family of the LATE PC Isaiah Kiplangat Cheluget has this morning called a press conference to clear the air in regards to dispute concerning their late father’s land registered as L.R No. ILMOTIOK/CIS-MARA/54.
The family led by Ambassador Nancy Cheluget, who read the statement on behalf of the family, says they have on several occasions met with representatives from the Office of the President, PS for Lands Nixon Korir, the Governor of Narok Joseph Ole Lenku, and the Director of Settlements.
While thanking President Ruto, the Chelugets say their late father, Isaiah Kiplangat Cheluget on several occasions reached out to the government looking for a peaceful and amicable resolution on the land, but sadly, he passed on before actualization of this desire.
“As a family we are pleased and extremely grateful to President William Samoei Ruto and the Governor of Narok Patrick Ntutu for their efforts,determination and resolve to ensure the issues surrounding our Father’s land r settled.”
The family further says all matters concerning the Succession and Estate of our late father were conclusively settled at the Kericho High Court, and confirmation of the grant issued on 12th of June 2018.
