Premature campaigns for Magarini mini polls kicks off in earnest

Even without the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Commissioners in place the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has declared they will field a candidate once the seat is announced vacant.
Party National vice chairman Hassan Omar Sarai has disclosed their intention to field a candidate to vie for the Magarini parliamentary seat after the nullification of the election of incumbent Harrison Kombe in the last general election was upheld by the Apex court.
Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) party  Secretary General Lucas Maitha confirmed they will have a candidate in place once National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula declares the seat vacant.
Kombe told the media he is not afraid of the by election and that he is ready to face his opponents.
He told the media that his opponents should get ready to ran for their money ahead of the mini polls.
“I will teach them a lesson they won’t forget,” he said.
