There is no cause for alarm with Raila taking over AU seat – Joho

 There will be no vacuum in local politics when Azimio leader Raila Odinga succeeds to become chairperson of the African Union Commission.

Orange Democratic Movement [ODM] deputy leader Hassan Ali Joho has assured party members and fraternity that there are two daily flights from Mombsasa’s Moi International airport to Adidas Abbas in Ethiopia.

As a matter of fact the country needs him more than before,” he argued.

Joho said his prayers are for Raila to succeed on his endeavor early next year during the union’s 38th summit in Ethiopia.

He was speaking during the distribution of foodstuff for the holy month of Ramadhan to Muslim faithful during a ceremony held at Sheikh Zayed hall in Mombasa county.

The pioneer Mombasa governor told the media his loyalty has been to his party leader throughout his political career.

Joho said when he joined politics in 2004 he has served under Raila’s stewardship and has refuted claims he has distanced himself from Raila’s circle.
