Detectives rescue Baby Liam Ngucwa days after being kidnapped, suspect arrested
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have rescued a 4-year-old boy who had been allegedly kidnapped in Murang’a County.
According to the DCI, detectives rescued Baby Liam Ngucwa Mwangi, who went missing on June 2, 2021.
The detectives say baby Liam who is believed to have been kidnapped by his grandparents’ houseboy, was found at a house in Naivasha, following days of his search.
According to the boy’s parents, their son had last been seen in Thika, in the company of their houseboy Charles King’ori alias Delvin Maina when he went missing.
Meanwhile, detectives have arrested baby Liam’s captor, Charles King’ori alias Delvin Maina, who had escaped narrowly moments before the rescue.
The detectives says the suspect was arrested following a dramatic chase in the streets of Naivasha town witnessed by members of the public.
