The Agilitee LoadMO, a fully electric delivery scooter, is the company’s most advanced three-wheeler.

Scheduled to launch in early 2024, the LoadMO marks Agilitee’s first venture into the world of three-wheelers. Tech experts report that this vehicle boasts 5kw batteries, enabling it to reach a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour and cover a distance of 200 kilometers on a single charge.

For the past five years, Agilitee has been at the forefront of promoting electric vehicle adoption in Africa, with its vehicles already in use across provinces like Eastern Cape, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng in South Africa. The company is now extending its reach to a fifth province this week.

Agilitee, a proponent of eco-friendly fully electric vehicles, is making waves in Kenya, led by Fred Muteti, Chairman of Agilitee East Africa Limited in Nairobi. The company’s goal is to have its vehicles available in all South African provinces by the end of December 2023, according to Mandla Lamba, the company’s founder.

Agilitee’s efforts have garnered recognition, earning it the 203rd spot in Tracxn’s ranking of start-ups and private companies worldwide. Tracxn considers Agilitee one of the largest global EV manufacturers. The company’s transition to a public entity in 2022, along with plans for an IPO and capital raising, further solidify its position for future global expansion.
