Azimio Will Remain Strong in Nairobi- Imwatok to Karua

Nairobi City County Assembly Majority Leader Peter Imwatok has applauded Azimios’ Martha Karua visit to the Assembly saying it was wonderful gesture.
Imwatok says the Azimio leadership in the Nairobi assembly is committed in its’ opposition role and that they will not give Nairobi back to the ‘dogs’


“We are committed as Azimio Leadership in ensuring that the oversight role is not compromised…we are working closely as Azimio leaders in the assembly just to ensure that the people of Nairobi get what they deserve and we shall not let our party leader Raila Amollo down.” Imwatok said.


Karua on her side asked the Azimio MCA to be firm and fight on ideologies but not fist fights.

Karua paid a courtesy call visit to Assembly Speaker Kennedy Ngondi.

The Makongeni MCA stated that he would soon officially invite Karua for an address to the assembly and a piece of advice.

He called on the majority leaders from the Kenya Kwanza coalition to also bring out ideas that will propel Nairobi in the right direction.

“I will soon make communication through the speaker and invite you to the assembly for an address. We invite our counterparts from the UDA side to bring up good ideas. We promise to be steadfast in terms of constitution safeguard,” Imwatok stated.
