Dr Edwin Mugo Thoughts After Induction

Newly inducted Mathioya Member of Parliament Dr Edwin Mugo Gichuki has shared his thoughts with The Times Digital.

In a news Interview, Dr Mugo noted,

“We are now properly equipped to handle the task ahead of us as enshrined in the Constitution. The Constitution envisages that the role of Parliament is three fold – legislation, oversight and representation. After the induction exercise we have made ourselves familiar with these roles and we are now ready to execute them, he said.

Top on the agenda is to create jobs especially for the youths through a paradigm shift from capital intensive projects to labour intensive ones. He also says that he is confident that the Ruto administration will empower farmers especially through lowering prices of Fertilizer
