Dr. Kariuki Leads National Tree-Planting Day Initiative in Kirinyaga County

In response to the  call by His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto to honor the victims of flash floods and address the pressing issue of climate change, Dr. Hezekiah Kariuki Mwangi, CEO and Managing Director of Together As One Micro Investment and Comfort Homes, spearheaded a significant tree-planting initiative in Kirinyaga County.

Early Friday morning, Dr. Kariuki embarked on a mission to distribute over 20,000 Grevillea trees and 500 avocado hash species to residents of Kirinyaga County, marking a pivotal moment in the fight against climate change. Recognizing the importance of starting at home, Dr. Kariuki emphasized that “Charity begins at home,” underscoring the significance of local action in addressing global challenges.
