Government expresses Confidence in Moringa School Programs

Principal Secretary, of the State Department, of Vocational Education and Training has expressed confidence that the government is confident in the programs offered by Moringa schools.

Speaking during the graduation of 490 graduates of the second graduation ceremony at Oshawal Centre graduated with Certificates in Software Engineering, data science, data visualization, and product design, Dr. Thaara said the graduates have what the employers are looking for.

“We are confident in their ability to find opportunities that align with their skills and qualifications. We are confident in the strength of the programs and the skills acquired to help them land jobs in the cut-throat, ever-changing world that is Tech. Moringa School students have the edge that employers are looking for, “Thaara stated.

The Four hundred and ninety graduates of Moringa schools have joined the 85% employment rate evidenced by the school in the digital economy within twelve months.

The graduates who were among the cohort that graduated at Moringa schools who were also holding an affair-themed “Tech your Career into your hands” had a career hub giving the participants booths from employers representing a variety of industries.

On her part, Mozilla Foundation CEO Mitchell Baker said they will continue partnering with Moringa schools to ensure students are ready for the job market by delivering transformative tech-based learning.

“We at Mozilla are keen on enhancing partnerships with brands like Moringa that are focused on ensuring that their students leave ready for the job market as technology professionals joining Africa’s tech Talent,” She stated.

Moringa School CEO Snehar Shah added that Moringa graduates’ career and job search approach indicates confidence in their ability to find opportunities that align with their skills and qualifications.
