Handicap 33 golfer wins charity tournament

Nyali golf player won this year’s charity golf tournament played at Nyali Golf & Country Club in Mombasa county.

Tony Mintos playing on 33 handicap managed to trounce a total of 156 golfers after posting 42 points to be declarethe winner.

The oneday tournament organized by Celebrate Akothee Foundation saw Epapa Lagat become the runners-ups with 41 points playing on 21 handicap.

Anne Cherop won the third award playing on 30 handicap with 40 points on countback.

M. Waiji won the fourth award with 40 points on countback playing on 11 handicap with Lawrence Odhiambo following with 30 point on countback playing on15 handicap.

The prize giving and awarding ceremony was graced by Mombasa governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir and the organizer Esther Akoth, alias Akothee.
