Kenya Ready For East Africa Region Tourism Expo

Kenya is ready to host the East Africa Regional Tourism Expo (EARTE). Confirming this the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Tourism Peninah Malonza had this to say,

“The annual Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) continues to be the region’s flagship travel trade fair that brings together domestic, regional, and international tour operators, travel agents, destination agencies and various other players in the tourism trade to network and facilitate tourism business.

This 12th edition of MKTE is yet another great opportunity for tourism stakeholders to connect and market their various products. The expo has exponentially grown to attain continental status and our aim is to now move to the next level ad make it global.

The East Africa Regional Tourism Expo (EARTE), now in its third cycle on the other hand represents the spirit of East African unity and our shared ambition as member states.

The inaugural Regional Tourism Expo was hosted by the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) in October 2021 in Arusha, while the second edition was hosted by the Republic of Burundi in September 2022 in Bujumbura.

It is now Kenya’s turn to shine. We proudly embrace this opportunity to make an already magnificent show even grander, amplifying the value and engagement for all participants. We are committed to showcasing the finest aspects of Kenya’s tourism alongside the rich offerings of our East African brethren.

This year, we shall be integrating the Magical Kenya Tourism Expo (MKTE) and the East African Regional Tourism Expo (EARTE) seamlessly, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to unity and a shared vision within the East African Community. Together, we are a formidable force, offering a treasure trove of products and experiences to travellers worldwide.”
