Kenya's Deputy President Gachagua Convenes Talks with Somalia's Prime Minister

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua convened a significant meeting on Tuesday with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The meeting, which took place at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi, underscored the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and cooperation in addressing shared challenges and advancing common interests.

In his welcoming remarks, Deputy President Gachagua expressed his pleasure at hosting Prime Minister Barre, reaffirming Kenya’s commitment to strengthening the bond between the two countries and exploring avenues for enhanced partnership across various sectors.

“This morning, I am delighted to welcome and host H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi,” stated Gachagua adding that Kenya and Somalia enjoy deep-rooted ties mutually beneficial to their  great nations.
