KNCCI boss Ngatia sends Easter wishes to Kenyans

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president Richard Ngatia has sent out a goodwill message to Kenyans from all walks of life during this period when the Easter holiday is being celebrated.

While noting that the Easter holiday bore with it a significance that varies greatly across Kenya’s broad faith community, Ngatia underscored two important principles that are shared within Kenya’s modern democracy as enshrined in the constitution which include the right of Kenyans to practice a faith of one’s choice freely and the fact that no person should be harassed because of their personal faith.

“The message of Hope that the Easter story brings is very special to me and my family. I wish you a safe and happy Easter as you spend time with those you love and reflect on what is really important,” Ngatia said in his goodwill message.

Ngatia has been at the front line in working to ensure that the business frontier in Kenya is steered in the correct direction and that the trading sector thrives he wished the business community the best as they celebrate Easter just a week since the hostile political environment had slackened the business environment in Kenya following the opposition sanctioned demonstrations which rocked several counties for two weeks.

“While the significance of the Easter weekend varies greatly across our broad faith community, two important principles are shared within our modern democracy: the right of Kenyans to practice their faith freely and that no person should be harassed because of their personal faith,” Ngatia said.

Kenyans join the rest of the world in celebrating Easter holidays when Christians around the World remember the Biblical crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his resurrection for the redemption of mankind.
